Privacy Policy for Space Explorer
Space Explorer is a kids educational iPhone app. We designed it so children can learn about space without creating an account, seeing ads, or sending personal information to us.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the Space Explorer iOS app published by Sai Laksha Technologies (studio brand: sreeo). The app is intended for children, with a parent or guardian involved in download and any links that leave the app.
Information the app stores on the device
Space Explorer stores the following only on the iPhone that runs the app:
- An explorer nickname you type during onboarding (default: “Explorer”)
- Learning progress such as XP, streaks, unlocked planets, quizzes, missions, and badges
- Settings such as sound, haptics, narration, and notification preference
- A local flag used to time Apple’s in-app rating prompt
This information never leaves the device. We do not operate a Space Explorer server, and we do not have a user account system.
Information we do not collect
- No email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or files
- No advertising identifiers and no tracking across apps or websites
- No analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party ads
- No in-app purchases and no payment data inside the app (Apple handles the paid download)
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The explorer nickname is optional, stays on the device, and is not used to identify a child to us or to anyone else. Parents can erase on-device progress with Settings → Reset Progress.
Links that open outside the app (App Store review, this privacy policy, and support) are behind a parental math check, as required for apps in the Kids category.
Apple services used on the device
- Speech: optional narration uses Apple’s on-device speech synthesizer
- Ratings: the in-app rating dialog is provided by Apple (StoreKit). We do not see who rated the app
- Haptics and sound use standard iOS APIs
App Store privacy label
In App Store Connect we declare Data Not Collected. “Collect” means data that leaves the device. Local nickname and progress do not.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page and the in-app copy as needed.
